The long awaited, 8 years in the making remake of the GREATEST VIDEOGAME SERIES EVER (FACT) is finally here.

Go get it now, you bunch of little monkeys, and while you’re at it, throw Bomberlink some coin for his work and sever upkeep, the guy fucking deserves it…

UPDATE

Despite Bomberlink getting in touch with Sega prior to release of SoRR and okaying it with them, some turkey in Sega has now got in a hissy fit and told him to remove all download links.

Methinks when they okayed it they probably thought it would be just another shitty, half-made, poorly designed fangame.

Now it turns out that it’s anything but, scoring press coverage and critical acclaim from all the big gaming sites across the interwebs, Sega has got themselves a little digital penis envy.

• LITERALLY FORCED MYSELF to finish Fist Of The North Star: Ken’s Rage, with every character, on legend and dream mode. It was a hard slog of levelling and trudging through the same post-apocalyptic scenery AGAIN, and AGAIN, with different characters. Probably wasn’t worth it for a couple of different cutscenes. But now I have 1000/1000 on it. Yay?

• Still haven’t put that copy of Vanquish I bought in my DVD drive. I think that’s the next one to complete.

• Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 is still only about 10% finished on my hard drive.

• Bought the 2 extra characters for Marvel Vs Capcom 3, and haven’t even played it since obtaining them.

• Bought Ghostbusters: Sanctum Of Slime on XBLA – Horribly bland twin-stick shooter, glazed in a Ghostbusters skin. Just reuses all the art assets from the game from 2 years ago, but manages to make them look about 10 times worse.

• Downloaded and played the new “Arrival” DLC for Mass Effect 2 – finished in less than 2 hours.

• Got an email notification for the next Back To The Future episode, can’t be arsed to download it, let alone install and play.

• The Whammy knob on my wireless P-Bass controller for Rock Band 3 bust, it was only 2 months old – have had to send it back to Madcatz. Not that I’ve really even played Rock Band much in those 2 months. Yeah, I bought a new guitar for the game and then barely played it, I bought two in fact – I got the players edition Telecaster at the same time. Why? Fuck knows.

Now excuse me while I cry into my pillow about “games not being like they used to be”.
