Fun With Google Video - The Next Generation

I've had a look through my old VHS tapes and found yet another little Sega PR related gem!

The Dreamcast Pre-Order video!

Not so full of the marketing bull of the Mega CD tape - but it still has its moments (note the use of Netscape screenshots instead of the DC's own clunky browser when mentioning web surfing, and who can forget "Up to 6 billion players" - Xbox live eat your heart out.)

I still have my DC out (well, close enough to a TV to be plugged in if I ever feel the need, which in all honesty isn't much anymore), but at least I can accept the platforms death, unlike some stupid fucks.

Yes - the DC still does get a few new releases, but whereas those are ports of games on Naomi/DC derivative hardware, and cost pocket change to convert, how (and for that matter WHY) the fuck does this twat think Sega would spend the money needed to translate a Chihiro (Xbox hardware) game to a fucking Dreamcast?

"Darth SOL" - Developer for Sumo - who converted Outrun2 to Xbox, and are now creating a new version for Xbox/PS2/PC/PSP, was heard to say that Sega would need to give Sumo something in the range of half a million to create a DC port (so that'll be roughly £499,970.01 they wouldn't get back), of course, they could do it in their spare time for bragging rights, but they are spending 18 hour days, you know... making the game on systems that MAKE MONEY.

JUST BUY THE XBOX GAME - IT'S AS ARCADE PERFECT AS IT CAN EVER BE YOU FANBOY COCK.
